God Won't Hear My Prayer

Darkness, ever present,
Consumes my depressed soul.
The emptiness is all I have,
in my pitiful hole.
If no one loves me,
If no one cares.
What is my purpose,
What do I share?
For the world goes on,
And I age every day.
With heartbreak and sorrow,
From thy path I do stray.
Life is cruel,
Life is unfair.
No matter what I do,
God won’t hear my prayer.
