A blanket, torch and boat

We landed on an island somewhere out to sea
The items that landed with us totalled all of three.
Forget the food and water and all other essential things
Cause a blanket, torch and boat is enough to make you sing.
The boat is very useful without any oars
Upside down it makes a house right there on the shore.
The blanket’s there to keep you warm when the night gets cold
Just curl up, crawl in the boat and put the world on hold.
I’m still not sure about the torch it seems a useless thing
But my stranded friend informed me there’s a use for everything.
