A Bully

Home isn’t a safe place for me
I get pushed and scratched
And then I fall to my knees
To him, I’m not a match
I got to school and look as if nothing’s wrong
And everyone gives these looks to me
I try to make sure I look very strong
I push and I scratch and make kids fall to their knees, And realise I’m being like him
I get in trouble and I’m glad
So I can stay away from such a father
And I know that bullying is bad
But all I can do is be a liar
I guess no one is safe
Whether they hurt or not
Bullying shouldn’t be an excuse for the abuse
Just call help and someone will be there for you
