Hero to some,
Villain to others.
Ned Kelly with his gun,
And his band of brothers.
Australian bushranger and robber,
Of the late nineteenth Century.
Protector and survivor,
Of Irish Catholic ancestry.
He made his final stand,
At the Battle of Glenrowan.
Wearing armour from the land,
No fear he was showing.
The Police and gang fought,
And after much strife.
Ned Kelly was caught,
Strong to the end, "Such is life".
