Dancing in the moonlight where the day has turned to dusk
The roses all around me give an aroma of musk
The moondust clouds grow bigger and bigger
When they slowly disappear, I finally see two figures
The white glitter around them glistens and shimmers
I ask them what their name is and all they say is “Mimmers”
I can’t understand them, they whisper in the dark
Until one of them swirls moondust and makes a spark
The tiny little creatures toddle away
I call out to them and tell them to stay
They murmur something to me
But all I can hear is “D”
But what does it mean I wonder out loud
I look at them and their standing up proud
I look around and see all the roses
But of course, it’s because of their noses!
