See I was told I had to write 16 lines
Or else I was gonna get some hefty fines
My teacher hands them out and calls them demerits
Now see this isn’t going to rhyme
Or have a jingle or even have matching syllables
But I guess this is my school life
Do things not coz I want to
but coz I have to
Bored, and uninterested some may say
But if all us students are being honest…
We may not use the facts we memorize for our exams
But we do use the the key principles that we learnt, persistence, resilience, dedication and education.
Now I may just be saying this so my teacher doesn’t go berserk
Not everyone is gonna understand this but that’s the point, its for GEN Z
Now its not going to be talked about, or compared to the greats
but im not doing this for fame just cuz I have to
But this is my submission and I kept it real so that’s that
This is supposed to be 16 lines but im a savage so its 17, now 18
*drops mic
