Walking around in converse and ripped jeans
Uploading pictures with beaming smiles and bright eyes
It’s the only way to keep up with other teens
People watching us like a rotten banana infested with flies
Loading others opinions onto our shoulders
Our true selves trapped beneath boulders
Through the eyes of some we’re standing on the highest mountain peek
But behind the camera we’re just another freak
A tsunami of never ending emotions
Disorders, cutting and death
Never ending notions
When will it stop?
Never, that’s when
So we must stop trying to hide
Because you will never have the whole world on your side
