Sucked Into A Book

Eyes drawn to the words,
Multiple thoughts going through my head,
Suddenly my eyes begin to blur,
As I lie down onto my bed

The time which I begin to dread,
I feel like I am inside the book,
As I blink and take my last look,
Into the story I’m gonna get hooked

Drops of water fall from the sky,
But I am still completely dry,
I am shaken on what’s going on,
As I wonder where I have gone

All I remember is being at home,
Just sitting and reading all alone,
As I walk and begin to roam,
I wish I was home and I start to groan
