Be silent.
Stand still.
You will hear the forest breathe.
Tonight I’ve watched the moon come out
In the dark, silent woods.
I’m home.
Faint howls and soft hoots fill the woods.
Wind among the evergreens,
The crisp, cold air runs down my neck.
The lake shimmers a Prussian blue,
In the twilight.
Only in the darkness of night in the woods
Is where I will find complete,
. . . Tranquility
