Little mouse with no voice,
Can you be heard?
Hiding all alone,
Scared when they purr.
Little mouse with no escape,
Can you be free?
Trapped in your home,
Even scared of me.
Little mouse with no warmth,
Can you stay dry?
Tucked away sadly,
You're not a bird, you cannot fly.
Little mouse with no love,
Can your heart shine through?
Left all alone,
Happiness untrue.
