Who You Used To Be.

You've left behind all traces of who you used to be.
With bloodshot eyes you took the glass, desperate to feel carefree.
Were you ever worth it? Did you ever feel enough?
Are you just waiting, for the day someone calls your bluff.
Your profile is a lie, you could've even fooled me.
You've left behind all traces, of who you used to be.
Master of deception, of lies and fiction.
Pretending to be someone your not, was your greatest addiction.
You found solace in a little white pill.
One after the other, they gave you a thrill.
You've left behind all traces, of who you used to be.
To feel something, even just for a night, came with a hefty fee.
You wore your noose like a necklace.
Your face is blue, and you're ever so breathless.
Easily ignoring your brothers desperate plea.
You've left behind all traces, of who you used to be.
