The Lonely Whale

Sombre cries accompanied by heartfelt sorrows, wept in absolute silence
Within the everlasting sea, it cries in eternal solitude
A whale that sings its tearful songs within other beings’ absence
He cries waiting for a voice to join his lonely rendezvous.

He sees many creatures, fish of many kinds
But none of them aware of him, imperceptible, or are they blind?
One night he finally hears a voice that radiantly shines
A low tune that hums a melody joining in his cries.

The lonely star starts to sing with so much blooming glee
As the whale joins, as a deep voice in the sea.
The star may not be a creature that breathes, grows or learns
But the whale after his solitude does not give any concern.
The star and the lonely whale start to sing in perfect harmony
As the whale dances in his vast stage, surely enjoying the company,

Together they hum the melody, freed from their lonely curse
Enjoying their company during every single verse.
But why can't you hear their song, or their musical adventure?
Because their voices harmonise and sing at exactly 52 hertz.
