Growling and scowling,
The sea was roaring,
In such a fury, such a tantrum;
The world stopped spinning.
All that remained was the plish-plash,
The pitter-pattering of the soothing rain,
Calming her brother, coaxing and stroking,
Quietly murmuring, steadying his temper.
A sigh of relief and peace escaped,
The sun and moon continued their course,
Leaving the swish-swash, a gentle rhythm,
Of serene waters lapping onto the shores.
Splash! The playful dolphins, splash!
Whoosh! The merry wind, whoosh!
Squawk! The lively seagulls, squawk!
Singing the chorus of euphoria.
