The lightning flashed, and the thunder growled.
And louder and louder the tempest howled.
The rain flooded our ears.
But we shed no tears.
The dark clouds spread across the sky.
The birds squealed in horror as they fly.
Streaks through the sky is the only light.
I assure her that everything will be alright.
We embrace the storm.
We make it home cosy and warm.
