I Couldn't Find The Words

I needed to tell you something:
But the words I couldn’t find.
So I borrowed your dictionary.
I thought you wouldn’t mind.
I found the perfect word to use,
But it turned into kind.
I really didn’t know what to do
The paper wasn’t lined.
No lines to write upon, the paper was just white.
The letters took a turn and then began to wind.
It turned into a drawing,
I was surprised to find.
The only thing I didn’t do
Was have my picture signed.
My picture tells a thousand words
I didn’t have in mind.
