Colour Poem

Red is as tasty as apples, as beautiful as Christmas ornaments and as sore as a scraped knee.
Orange is as sweet as oranges, as sharp as Ms Shelley's scissors and as blunt as an orange pencil.
Yellow is as sour as lemon, as bright as the Sun and as twinkling as stars in the night sky.
Green is as soft as long grass, as sticky as frogs and as warm as my sports tracksuit.
Blue is as good as great jobs, as wet as raindrops, and as strong as chairs.
Purple is as juicy as grapes, as fat as hippos and as long as history.
Pink is as pretty as Zara's watch, as cute as pigs and as helpful as the paper bin.
White is as plain as paper, as soft as silk and as liquid as milk.
Black is as dark as caves, as mysterious as the universe and as clean as my school shoes.
