Flip! Flop! Flip! Flop! A Murray Cod was stuck on a log! Then I let it go. “Ahh…what’s wrong? I can only see water 2cm deep! It was meant to be 65cm deep!”
Then I saw it had algae in it. It smelled like rotten egg. It was nearly night time. I should go. I walked to my house. It was near the water. It was upstream.
“Ar, that was a nice sleep,” I said the next day. I changed my t-shirt and I got my shorts. I hurried to the river. I saw an Estuary Perch and a Southern Purple Spotted Gudgeon. I picked them up and moved them to my garage in a big tank.
When I went down to the river there was no more water. I was relieved I had saved the last fish in the river!
