I feel like an empty page,
Waiting for the pen to take the stage,
And write what I am all about,
Who I am, what I can be,
To tell me what is written deep inside of me.
To play the intro to my song,
Before I get up and sing along.
To tell me what to say, and what not to say,
To be me, so I can be free to
Make these decisions ON MY OWN.
