Cat's Cradle

Making a cradle of memories,
Of dreams stayed dreams,
And dreams become realities.
Old fingers teaching young ones
Unspoken, unnoticed truths;
Practice makes perfect.
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.
Persevere.
Nothing worth having comes easy.
Sometimes it doesn’t come,
Sometimes it needs those strong fingers
To pull it into existence.
Hands slipping in the patterns of yesterday,
Intertwining strings
Writing a name for the past,
Spinning a song for the future.
