My love for this country will stay the same as we improve our civilisation,
But either way
I am happy to say
That my home is in this nation.
I love the native flora and fauna,
A koala in a gum tree
Bottle brushes and Waratahs
Australia’s the place for me.
From deserts to sandy beaches,
By the Harbour Bridge
Kangaroos at Uluru
And vegemite in the fridge.
The outback to the ocean
We are spoiled by choice
Let’s sing with one voice
We are proud to be Australian!
