I’m not accepted for who I am,
I’m not accepted ‘You are a man’,
She will never understand,
How much I care,
Why I cry and why I’m there.
I love my parent without a doubt,
But she just needs to work this one thing out,
I’m not sick and I’m not depressed,
I’m not insane, I just need a crest.
Something to show that I’m no different,
Something to show that she needs to listen,
I am a girl, like any other,
And I need to be heard by my mother.
