I see majestic birds swoop up oh so high,
Disappearing, camouflaging into the summer sky.
Bright pretty flowers swaying, dancing in the breeze,
Dots of colour beneath the many dark green trees.
Fish swim through the calm waters of the stream,
Illuminated by the glare of the sun’s yellow beam.
As we stroll around enjoying life,
Taking in the sunset without strife.
But soon the reason we are here,
Could one day well disappear.
Because we destroy and we wreck,
We pollute and neglect.
When we should guard and protect,
We should respect and correct.
There is much for us to do to ensure,
That our beautiful world will have a future.
