Uncertainty

Surrounded by this uncertain feeling, a captured bird in her cage.
My mind is barely dealing, as I’m left alone, backstage.
No one knows what or why, I can’t explain this self doubt
My only solution is to cry, to shut out this burnout.
Growing has never been easy, surroundings made it hard.
Now I’m constantly queasy, never letting down my guard.
Always felt that something was wrong, in this complicated mind of mine.
Always knew I was never confident or strong, to have my moment to shine.
