Can You Hear Me?

My eyes filled with tears and I started to cry,
“Can you hear me?” there was no reply.
Why did you go, nowhere to be seen,
Why does life have to be so mean?

I found myself here, and a single tear,
Started rolling down my face.
No shoulder to cry, why did she have to die,
All alone in this cruel place.

The times we shared, happy, sad and scared,
Went through my mind like lightning.
I wish you could come back, the world is empty and black,
And without you I am fighting.

My eyes filled with tears and I started to cry,

I fell to my knees and began to sleep,
And I never woke up, not even to weep.
