Though war speaks every language
Numbers are never understood
Though war knows every religion
It does not understand peace
Though war is old
It can live forever

Though flags are raised in every place
And crowds are one crying face
The tears for those who do reunite
Are happy ones as they hold each other tight
But what about those who stand alone
Who won’t stop looking for messages on their phone

Where is the unity
Where is the peace
How long will it take for the war to cease
