Ode To My Dad

I remember the fun memories of the past,
I kept asking questions that I’ve already asked.
When we used to jump in the freshly raked leaves,
Whistling in the cool Autumn breeze.
I remember when we used to have fun,
In the warm and relaxing Summer sun.
We were splashing in crashing waves,
Or watching crackling firework flames.
In Winter we skated and chose where to go,
Or made snowmen from the white and soft snow.
In Spring it was time to clean my room,
Where flowers and roses would bloom.
And after all of the laughing and fun,
Where the wild deer and horses would run.
A big thank you from me,
For happiness and thanks for making me feel free.
