Little eyes, little ears, little mouth, and little heart.
To see, to hear, to cry, and to love.
Knowing you moved, or you existed, or your heart was still beating
Just yesterday, now you don’t.
Little eyes, little ears, little mouth, and little heart.
That will never see, or hear, or cry, or love.
Knowing I will never hear you, or hold you, or make you laugh,
And I love you all the same.
Little eyes, little ears, little mouth, and little heart.
That see me, hear me, talk to me, and love me from above.
Knowing I will never see you, or teach you, or praise you,
And it fills me with grief like I have never felt before.
Little eyes, little ears, little mouth, and little heart.
That I loved so dearly until they were no more
