People are hurt, people are dying
Children are screaming, I can hear them crying
Crimson red is splattered all over the streets
People are shot and struggling to get to their feet
The men have taken over, vicious and crazy
They are power-hungry and keeping women in slavery
Bloodthirsty maniacs, the men are these days
It would be much more peaceful if we were all paid the same
Nights are hard, to sleep I need to fight
Crying is usual while my room is swallowed by the moonlight
My eyes are puffy, as red as can be
Families are helpless and ready to flee
I like to imagine a world much fairer and clearer
But the only thing I can do is focus on the girl in the mirror
