Excellence Award in the 'Inspired 2019' competition

As the sky turns yellow, there's the song of the first sparrow.
Up the sun lifts, smooth as water drifts.
Arching across the sky, seeing everything far and high.
Even the smallest pea, and also the largest sea.
The Animals far below, are grateful for it all.
As well as all the plants, crawling with happy ants.
As the sun drifts down, pretty as a crown.
Going through the sky, and giving its last cry.
At last I see the moon, urging me to croon.
In among the dots of white, shining its bright light.
