What Was That Noise

That night I woke up
I heard something new
There wasn’t a thing
That gave me a clue
I opened the door
To look in the night
But all I could see
Were stars shining bright
I looked in the fridge
I looked under floors
But I found a room
I’ve dreamt of before
But then I saw something
That made me revolt
Soon then I realized
I needed to bolt
