Lucky Me
I live on a farm way out west
And I hate to brag but it is the best
I just don’t know how people live in the city
But they have my pity
While riding in the cool, fresh country breeze
I won’t be sick or want to sneeze
I can peacefully sleep through the day
Without the traffic having a say
Beautiful animals all around
Happily make a lovely, calming sound
While the city is filled with thick, grey smog
The country only has misty fog
Colored brumbies galloping along
While hearing the blue birds singing their song
Open paddocks with no building in sight
The sun peering down, calm and bright
