A Light

A light through the empty dark,
A small golden light,
You were the spark,
That lit up the darkest night,
Every day, the light it does grow,
Darkness fading slowly,
Watering the hope you sow,
I am no longer lonely.
The voices still remain,
At the back of my mind,
You are the only thing that keeps me sane,
I am free, no longer confined.
But as they say,
stitches can heal,
The scars they stay,
Never to go,
but to fade away.
