We waited,We stood so still,We waited We had no will ,We waited .
She turned to me ,She spoke one word ,She looked at me, She kept her stare ,She beckoned me, She made me swear,
We waited, We were safe in here, We waited ,We stood so near, We waited.
She took my hand ,She held it tight ,She walked me up,She walked me out ,She stopped the cart ,She pulled me up,
We waited ,We lay so low,We waited,We bumped along,We waited.
She looked to me ,She whispered clear ,She spoke to me ,She said “We’re near”,She stopped the cart ,She helped me down,
We waited,We were almost there ,We waited ,We could smell the air ,We waited.
She walked us on,She helped our steps,She held our hands,She never slept,She looked to me ,She looked to us,
We had waited,We now could move ,We had waited,We now were free,We had waited.
She turned away,She took one step,She had helped us from that place ,She had saved us ,She was blessed,She was our goddess
For we were now safe, and we were now free.
