O, ocean, your beauty calms me.
You hold life within your crystal blue,
Whilst the sunset glistens off your gentle waters.
Yet still, mankind hurts you.
They create an unbreakable monster,
Which pollutes your elegant seas.
If they are not wary, the plastic shall swallow you.
Memories are held within your tumbling waves,
Which are full of laughter and of joy.
As I dive, you take me to another world,
Washing all of my troubles away.
That will all be gone soon. Those memories covered by plastic.
Your delicacy, drowned in litter. My escape, gone.
I need you ocean, as my love for you is true.
You thrill me, comfort me and accept me.
Now it's time I rescue you.
