The dull ones in the night sky came and gone unseen,
Wishing to leave a dent in history but who am I to dream what I cannot seize,
We all know who came first yet who second?
For they believe me to be naïve and follow their regime,
I’m not giving up on who I truly was born to be

A veil casting over what they do not want to see
They say ignorance is bliss though why would that be?
I chose my path so why do I feel guilty?
Everyone is leaving, I’m still breathing
I’m running out of reasons, come help me, please

The bright ones in the night sky, which everyone wants to see
I’m drained, you are too late, I am finally free
I thought they’d never leave me but why do I dream so big?
I will not repent, you will regret, we will all see
Life is a gift; death is not cheap, a soul is thee
I’m not giving up on who I truly was born to be
