It was a warm and sunny autumn day. A big bear was sitting under the tree. The leaf fell from the tree and landed on bear’s foot.
“How pretty and strange,” thought bear. “It is very colourful and even can fly. I need to show it to my friends. I hope they know what it is and like it as much as I do.”
He walked to the meadow where his friends were playing hide-and-seek. “Look,” said the bear, “I have something very beautiful to show you.”
“What is it?” asked Lilly, bear’s friend. “Can you eat it?” asked Jensen another friend of bear. “Where did it come from?” asked Toby.
“It came from the tree and it can fly,” replied the bear. “But I don’t know what it is.”
Friends looked at the leaf again and again. Sudden wind blew it off bear’s hand and threw it up in the air, moving the leaf away from the friends. “I think it is just autumn,” said Thomas, their cleverest friend. “Look around and you can see that everything is changing and becoming beautiful. It is definitely autumn.”
