How long can humans go on?
How many years, till we find we were wrong?
When will we see the tears the children shed?
How many lies will we tell, with no regret?
Which ocean will we next destroy?
Before we realise the world's not a toy!
Why do we not care about our future?
Do we think we can stop this with mistruths and humour?
When will the sky no longer be blue?
The time is now, and it's up to me and you.
Is this what we really want, are we happy now?
Is this really what we will allow?
We have the world, will there soon be none?
Step back and look at what we have done.
Take action now, in every single state,
For the oceans, animals and trees can no longer wait.
