Farewell My Love

Lately these nights forbid me to sleep
The tears flow down just like a waterfall
As I think of the memories that I keep
I feel as if there’s no happiness left

We reassured each other that we were meant to be
But those were all lies that haunt me to this day
My source of joy has finally left me
All i can do is remember every moment

The winds are weeping, the trees dancing
Mother nature knows of my pain
I see the shadows of sorrow advancing
Towards my heart, I’m left defenseless

My life is in tatters, my heart can’t forget
People around me have told me to move on
I will always remember that day we first met
But I guess this is farewell my love
