Help, hardship, impoverishment,
we were once happy,
until, he left us, he found his happiness and left us, he left us here to die!
The need of money, the want of wealth blinded him. he began to steal, he went mad, started to hate us, started to hate the ones who loved him more than their life. He left the one who gave birth to him, he left the ones who raised him, he left us. We need help,
To get out of this hardship, to get out of this impoverishment. But what can I do, life’s going to always remain this blue, we have to move on, for my relation with him is long gone. It’s been years since we’ve heard laughter, now we have someone to look after,
Dayo, yes that’s her name,Dayo, ‘joy arrives’, Dayo, my aim. She’ll get what she needs, I’ll get her what I can, as long as God leads,
I promise I’ll be the best father I can. Now I’ll fight for my little princess, even if I die, It’ll get her out of this mess. Education is what we all deserve, money shouldn’t be the barrier in between. We have the right, the right to fight, because we can also be impolite, our whole lives we’ve lived as slaves, working, working, working, all seven days.
