Finalist in the 'Inspired 2019' competition

Gentle whispers call out to me,
It lives deep, deep in the sea.
One morning, I decide to explore,
what there is in the ocean galore.
Splashes against my toes,
bathers on and here I go!
Racing through a tide so tall,
such an adventure for one so small.
Time flies so quickly in the sea,
it isn't long before I have to leave.
Goodbye my gentle friend,
even though this is not the end.
