Randomly speckled across a navy expanse
In an assortment only their designer can interpret
Glittering within a void
Which wraps around the earth
And meanders throughout the universe
Luminous flecks of light
Which latch onto our wishes and dreams
And flesh them out into reality
Their fierce glaring beams
Dimmed down to a mere glow
To reach our flickering eyes
And slowly
Lull us
To sleep
