I Lay in bed
Through the night
As I hear the screams,
Screams of fright
I lie awake thinking
Who could it be?
Is it just my imagination?
Or is it really fear?
I open my eyes
And I think to myself
Do I remain still?
Or should I go help?
I stay lying in bed
Having no heart
Waking up the next morning
To a negative start
Three people injured
Two that are dead
Was this a coincidence?
Or was it all in my head?
