Her feet beat across the stage, like fluttering white doves
Her turns struck awe, like children on Christmas morning
When she jumped time stopped, catching her midair
She was as free as a bird and as fierce as a tiger
Her movements were as fluent as words on a page
She could turn her body to a piece of music
And dance like fire
