Mahatma

A lawyer, a fighter or a father we say.
But the little did they know what was going to happen
He wasn't the one who sailed the seas
But we truly know it ain't a story-make-believe
Each hour passed hour, but hope didn't fade
Even in the clinks, or staring at skies made up of ink.
For his bucket list, one thing remained
And soon after his mission, three things made him alone
After he kicked the bucket, his soul will remain
In the tomb at New Delhi, along in his children
He lived a lot blinks, and now has taken 40 winks
This is the person, we surely must look up to
He wasn't a prince or an Indian raja
This man gave India what it needed
Generations to come will scarce believe that such a one as this ever in flesh and blood walked upon this earth
These two words, Mahatma Gandhi
