The land cries to give us water
But they are quick to take, to grab, to steal
All is provided here so drink from my hands
Who would’ve thought this is just a distant dream?
With a white dove flying above it all, orchestrating the entire rainy scheme
The destruction of the red, the black and the yellow
So innocent seeming
Kookaburra’s don’t laugh at anything
Nothing nefarious at surface level
This land was once pure, can’t you remember?
I hunt the grounds for empathy but it hides from me
The kangaroo won’t continue
Without a push from the other side
The sky understands and it rains it rains harder!
My heart was torn out of my chest but I could finally lay to rest
It rained it rained oh mother!
