Haunted Castle

Screams fill the dark hallways of what we known to be the haunted castle. All of a sudden A dark voice fills the hallways,
“Out, get out!” the blunt lights flicker on and off as I see a flying creature which could only mean one thing. The story’s I’ve heard, the things people have told me is true I run down the hallways to bump into my friends who are staring at the floor in horror. When Josh is scared you know somethings up, he always seems to be the tough one, Alex thinks he’s good until he sees it then he freaks. Me, I don’t even know how they convinced me to come. I look down only for a spit second then feel sick to my stomach. There are bones scattered all along the hall, human bones.
“We need to cross it’s the only way out” Josh said
“There has to be another way out it’s a castle.” I felt shivers go down my spine as I said it. Josh comes jumping up
“hey, this is like an obstacle course.” The dreaded feeling inside me made me look up I saw rough water, that itself was enough to scare me. The things that we had to climb to get to the other side were floating wooden planks I am a nervous wreck. The boys went first then me I was at the top point of the planks when suddenly it hit me literally,
“Stop!” Suddenly I released the boys were In front of me.
“B, behind you” I look then tumble down the planks in shock, just dogging the water.
“What are kids doing here leave now” says the ghost
“his name is Grant. He haunts the castle and when people enter it, he warns them but from then on nothing good happens to the people. I’ve heard someone died in here, that would explain the bones” Alex says
We ran down the hall when suddenly
“Josh, why would you do that, we were just getting away from the grant the ghost!” I feel myself getting mad
“No… I was saving you,” Josh said.
“It’s a trap if we stand on the bad plates we are basically dead or in serious trouble” Alex says, I take my shoe of and throw it on a pressure plate, Bang! A giant bolder fall from the roof and through the floor taking the shoe with it.
“Yep we are dead if we step on the wrong one.” My heart is beating so fast thinking they could be my last words.
“It’s not that hard follow the pattern,” Josh is standing on the other side looking so stuck up. Alex took his first step so confidently; then he vanishes under the floor
My heart is racing, and I go to follow josh who’s just ran off, but he’s gone like he was never there at all, I run the other way hoping to find a way out.
