It’s Origin time again, the series starts in May
It’s Blues against Maroons, with three huge games to play,

Queensland are the favorites, they are hungry to compete
But the Blues are out for blood, their want to knock us off our feet,

Mal and Ricky have picked their teams, with eighteen men a side
There here to play some footy, for the honor and the pride,

Lockyer is the captain, a job which makes him proud
As he inspires his fellow team, and the vocal Queensland crowd,

Gallen is the other bloke, who leads the Blues,.in this great fight
New South Wales the underdogs, they are out to set things right,

80 minutes of football, with the blood, the sweat and tears
It will be the greatest game, that we will see in years,

So grab your mates, let’s party, wear some Maroon or Blue
Shout and cheer, show your support, … your state is calling you
