Shall I compare thee to a silken sheet?
How smooth you feel when melted in my mouth
Something I incessantly want to eat
Yet I still need to hide you from my spouse
You send my heart racing a rapid pace
I can’t control myself in your presence
When I eat too much I feel a disgrace
But your skill to delight is your essence
My pure love for you makes my stomach swell
Too much indulgence causes me red spots
Leads me to feel I should bid you farewell
But despite your flaws I love you a lot
You bring such happiness into my life
Without chocolate we would be in strife
