Excellence Award in the 'The Inside Story 2020' competition
Dark not dense, fade black to white nothing clearer, nothing murkier. Where the purest light is dark yet, darkness is light. Everything caving around you, in every second of silence. The light soft enough to comfort you but too harsh to be loved. The exit of life so close yet you’re still intrigued enough to be lured in. Weave through the tree challenge or find the perilous path but when the time comes, fate will prevail. So choose wisely or except the hands of death.
