Driven by dreams,
Fueled by faith,
Hope for a better world.
A land once fair,
A people bright,
Where a darkness now prevailed.
They deemed our dreams too distant,
Our faith futile and vain.
“Immature, idealistic, ignorant,” they sneer.
But we will not cower, do not cry.
We hope,
A bright light the shadows cannot conquer.
For centuries our people have whispered prays,
Pleas that go answered.
Now armed with dreams and shielded by hope,
We will build a better world.
